TECHCON 2010 is a not-to-be-missed event for faculty.  Here’s why:

1. Faculty who have a student presenting also have an exceptional opportunity to discuss their research with industry and other researchers during the TechFair presentation.  As the faculty advisor for a presenting student, you are strongly encouraged to attend to support your student and your research!
2. Networking opportunities abound with industry representatives, SRC staff, and other university researchers.
3. A view of a broad spectrum of SRC research is available in the paper sessions and in TechFair.  You might discover a new synergistic relationship or the germ of a new idea that you can help cultivate.
4. Look for future grad students!  30 students from the SRC Undergraduate Research Opportunities program will be presenting posters.  Your next star grad student could be among them!
5. Take advantage of a bargain!  Registration rate for faculty is $350; the one-day rate is $200 – and the food is excellent!
