Franco Cerrina Fellowship Fund

Professor Franco Cerrina (1948-2010) of University of Wisconsin-Madison and Boston University, was a scientist, an educator, an entrepreneur and a technical leader whose vision opened up new fields and avenues in applied sciences. To celebrate his life and career, and to extend his vibrant legacy, the Cerrina Fellowship intends to encourage, sponsor and support young scientists and technologists whose work integrates leading-edge research into completely new application areas, crossing boundaries between traditional or established disciplines, with original ideas and solutions.

The Cerrina Fellowship will be awarded to students who best represnt the spirt of Cerrina by taking research in new directions in areas such as silicon/biological interfaces and applications, beyond-CMOS computational devices, nanotechnology and nanofabrication, and open new frontiers in electrical and computer engineering.

Double Your Impact

Many companies and foundations double or even triple the value of charitable gifts made by employees, their spouses, board members and retired employees through matching contributions. Some even provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. We have identified, to the best of our knowledge, a list of companies related to the semiconductor industry that have a matching gifts program.

If you do not find your employer on this list, please check with your company’s human resources office. If your company has a matching gifts program, please let us know so that we can add your company to our list. If your employer requires an Employer Identification Number (EIN) (i.e. Federal Tax Identification Number), please use 58-1807204. Please mail your completed matching gift form to: SRC Education Alliance, Attn: Matching Gifts, P.O. Box 12053, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709-2053
