Mike Phillips received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the North Carolina State University in 1976. In 1996 he graduated, cum laude, from the North Carolina Central University School of Law. He developed his interest in Intellectual Property Law in 1994 while working as an analog and digital electronics design engineer for MTS Systems Corporation.
Mike is registered to practice as a patent attorney before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In addition, he is admitted to practice before the North Carolina Bar, the North Carolina Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, and the United States Supreme Court.
