Yingyan Celine Lin

Prof. Yingyan Celine Lin, Georgia Tech, has made outstanding contributions to electrical and computer engineering, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), which has significantly advanced the field. Indeed, Professor Lin has numerous publications in top-tier venues. Her work has earned accolades such as an IEEE Micro Top Pick of 2023 and First Place in both the ACM SIGDA University Demonstration at DAC 2022 and the ACM/IEEE TinyML Design Contest at ICCAD 2022.

Celine's dedication to research is matched by her leadership and collaborative efforts. She has organized influential panels and fostered partnerships with SRC companies, resulting in impactful partnerships and publications. Her mentorship extends her influence beyond research, as evidenced by her successful guidance of students who have received prestigious recognitions, including the International Create the Future Contest, Cadence Women in Technology Scholarship, and an IBM Fellowship award. One of her female Ph.D. students from Rice University has even secured a tenure-track position at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, showcasing Celine's ability to nurture the next generation of leaders. Prof. Lin's numerous accolades, including the NSF CAREER Award, IBM Faculty Award, and ACM SIGDA Outstanding New Faculty Award, further underscore her exceptional promise and achievements as an educator and researcher.
