TECHCON 2012 Author's Kit:
Guidelines for 4-Page Paper and Electronic Submission 

4-PAGE PAPER:  DEADLINE IS JUNE 13, 2012

  1. Papers should be no more than four (4) pages including all figures and graphs.
  2. The short abstract submitted with this 4-page paper should be no more than 150 words; it will be used for the Conference Program and posted to the web before TECHCON.
  3. The title on the original 4-page paper submission will be the title used in the conference program, on the web, and on the poster title board. Title changes received after June 21 will not be reflected in the conference program.
  4. Format of the 4-page paper, e.g., number of columns, line spacing, etc., is your choice. Font should be at least 10 point. In order to submit the paper it must be saved as an Adobe Acrobat PDF document.
  5. All papers should include as a header, title, presenter and university, other authors and affiliations.
  6. Papers will be published to the SRC website prior to the conference and as part of the TECHCON 2012 Proceedings after the conference.

Electronic Submission

  1. All papers must be submitted electronically via the SRC websiteNO EXCEPTIONS
  2. The submission process begins with logging onto the SRC website. Please follow the provided link to the online submission form: /app/publication/submit/step/1/
  3. Complete steps 1-4 on the form.
  4. Upon completion of submission you will receive an email from DBADMIN@src.org; please be sure your spam filter does not block this address.  This email will list the publication number assigned to your submission.  This is the only record you will receive to verify completion of your submission.  Please save this for your records.
  5. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure timely submission of his or her 4-page paper to SRC.  The final deadline is June 13, 2012.  Because we have a very tight schedule to meet printing deadlines, no extensions will be granted
