Bob Bell

Bob Bell is Senior Product Security Architect, Trusted Systems Group at Cisco Systems, Inc., responsible for architecting hardware-anchored product identity solutions for all of Cisco products. He is also responsible for architecting CPU-based secure boot standards for Cisco products and helping develop non-CPU-based secure boot standards for Cisco Products. Bell is a contributor to various internal product security standards used to help increase security functionality for Cisco products. From 1998 to 2008 he was a Senior Architect for security for the IP Telephony systems of Cisco and developed standards for initial provisioning and control of the IP Phones.

Prior to joining Cisco, Bell was with Selsius Systems, Inc. from 1992 to 1998, where he helped develop the first commercially available IP Telephony systems and developed initial protocols and formulated control processes for the phones

Prior to 1992, he worked as a Senior Programmer at Intecom, Inc., responsible for various interfaces for the Intecom digital PBX family of products, which included the development of ISDN BRI and PRI interfaces.
