Biography: Himanshu Kaul
Himanshu Kaul received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Since 2004, he has been with Intel Corporation’s Circuit Research Lab, Hillsboro, OR, where he is currently a Principal Engineer. He has published over 50 papers in journals and conferences and has been granted over 20 US patents. His research interests include special-purpose accelerators for machine-learning, graphics and video, computer arithmetic circuits, floating-point units, integer datapath, and on-chip communication fabrics.
