21-May-2012

TECHCON is the primary event where SRC presents the best of research sponsored by the membership and showcases the students performing the research. It is also the venue for recognizing industry and university participants who make SRC a world-class research management organization. TECHCON 2012 will include research presentations from GRC, FCRP, NRI, and ERI in integrated sessions. Primary elements of TECHCON 2012 are outlined below. Come join us in September for a spectacular event!

145 Technical Papers

TECHCON 2012 provides a cross-disciplinary snapshot of the state-of-the-art in silicon-based research. Technical papers selected for TECHCON represent a compact summary of the best research in SRC’s portfolio across all of SRC's research programs. Choose from among 16 judged paper sessions and 4 poster sessions organized around technical areas of particular interest to the SRC membership. Use the presentations to identify novel technical options relevant to your company and match graduate students to your full-time and intern hiring needs.

Posters from Undergraduate Research Opportunities (URO) Students

Thirty posters from student participating in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities program will again be a part of TECHCON. This program is in place on 14 university campuses with the objective of attracting a diverse population of qualified students and tracking them to graduate school. A poster section will be available in TechFair throughout the conference.
