JUMP Undergraduate Research Initiative

The JUMP Undergraduate Research Initiative (URI) is an academic year long program that both exposes undergraduates to career opportunities associated with JUMP members and illustrates the benefits of obtaining an advanced degree in a technical area related to microelectronics. It combines a structured undergraduate research experience with PhD student mentorship. A competitive process has been used to select four cohorts at U.S. research universities, each emphasizing US citizens, diverse, and gender candidates. Each fall, a subset of the year’s URI fellows will be invited to SRC’s TECHCON student showcase to share and enrich their URI experience.
