Broadening Participation
The JUMP 2.0 Program is dedicated to inspiring students interested in pursuing education and careers in semiconductor sciences. Today’s semiconductor companies are embracing diverse talent, recognizing that different perspectives and experiences can lead to novel ideas and innovative solutions to complex problems. When individuals from diverse backgrounds collaborate, they bring unique insights and approaches that can spark creativity and drive innovation. Increasing diversity does not mean instituting quotas; it simply means that students of all backgrounds feel safe and respected when pursuing their chosen careers. By crafting an environment that offers purpose, innovation, learning, and a sense of belonging, the industry can attract and retain the brightest minds, fostering a community that continues to push boundaries and drive progress.
