Longer term microelectronics research is now being sponsored by DARPA and industry participants in STARnet (FCRP Phase VI).
The day-to-day management of the center is in the hands of the center directorship and the supporting administrative and technical staff. The executive committee (consisting of director and theme leaders) is in charge of setting and executing the technical and research directions of the center. The coordinating committee forms the bridge between the center and the sponsoring bodies, while the executive and technical advisory groups help to provide the center leadership with feedback and inputs on the performance of the center and the research directions.
