Request for Proposals in Test and Testability
The Semiconductor Research Corporation periodically reviews its research portfolio to assure a balance of university research to meet the needs of SRC member companies. The Computer-Aided Design and Test science area of SRC anticipates being able to add to this work research tasks in test and testability in 2001. Member needs in this area are outlined in the needs document. Interested researchers (at universities worldwide) should note the proposal and review schedule below. These steps will permit the funding of projects in September 2001. Following submission of a proposal in the specified format by June 12, 2001, SRC member company reviewers will select research to be funded.
Proposals should address research with a 3-8 year time horizon, and outline a three-year program. It is estimated that only a small number of contracts, supporting 1-2 students each, will be able to be supported. The calendar for this proposal cycle is as follows:
|Publication of Request for Proposals||May 15, 2001|
|Deadline to Submit Proposals||June 12, 2001|
|Selected Proposals Announced||July 19, 2001|
|Official, University-Approved Submission Required||August 2, 2001|

If you know of other interested parties (worldwide), please feel free to make them aware of this solicitation.
