New NSF and SRC Joint Solicitation on Hardware Security Research
SRC and NSF are pleased to announce a new solicitation on Secure, Trustworthy, Assured and Resilient Semiconductors and Systems (STARSS). This second joint STARSS solicitation is under the broader NSF Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SaTC) program. The goal is to develop strategies, techniques and tools that avoid and mitigate vulnerabilities and lead to semiconductors and systems that are resistant and resilient to attack or tampering. The full solicitation, including details on the STARSS perspective under the SaTC program and submission instructions are available on the NSF website. Deadline for receipt of full proposals by NSF in response to the STARSS portion of the SaTC solicitation is January 14, 2015.
