SRC Researchers Receive Awards at ECTC 2014
At the IEEE's Electronic Component Technology Conference (ECTC), SRC-supported researchers took home several of the most prestigious awards that were handed out. The ECTC is the premier electronic packaging conference in the world. The ‘Sustained Technical Contribution’ award went to Prof. Madhavan Swaminathan from Georgia Tech. The ‘Exceptional Technical Achievement Award’ went to Prof. Pradeep Lall from Auburn. Paragkumar Thadesar, a student of Prof. Muhannad Bakir from Georgia Tech, was presented with the Outstanding Poster Award. Congratulations to all of these SRC researchers! In addition, Dr. Avi Bar-Cohen, who is the DARPA Program Manager for the STARnet program, was presented with the top award – the IEEE CPMT Society Field Award. These field awards are given to individuals whose names are synonymous with their field of research, and are therefore among the most prestigious of all awards that the IEEE presents each year.
