Dr. Chowdhury of Stanford University is an expert in Diamond deposition on GaN and SiC used in heat spreading in high frequency, high power RF and mmWave communication devices. As a key researcher in the ComSenter, her work represents a path that could significantly address the hard program of heat management.

Srabanti's work focuses on Diamond deposition on GaN and on SiC with low thermal boundary resistance and is truly revolutionary. With this invention, diamond layers with high thermal conductivity can be grown adjacent to active RF and power devices in GaN and SiC semiconductors. She is very prolific in sharing the data which includes methodology and metrology data from her team’s work and providing transparent evaluation of the quality of the experimental work, as well as the health of the process.

Other prestigious awards she has received include the NSF CAREER Award, the DARPA Young Faculty Award, and the Air Force Office of Research Young Investigator Award, and Young Scientist Award by the International Symposium on Compound Semiconductors.
